Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was a member of the team and the team captain for 2012's Fierce Five as well as the 2015 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. At the 2012 Olympics in London she was awarded gold medals in team and floor competitions and bronze in the balance beam. In 2012 she was one of the few American athlete to earn the most number of medals during the Olympics. In 2016, she along with her teammate Gabby Doug were the first Americans who won back-toback golds at team events. Her silver medals came in the floor individual and all-around event. Following the 2nd Olympics, she stopped for three years gymnastics. Also, she was a part of gold-winning American teams in the two World Championships. Gymnastics was her first sport of choice at the age of two and her favorite event is floor exercise. Aly has joined the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandma. She plans to pursue the profession of a fashion designer. Her future goals include growing her range of leotards. She is writing a book called Fierce which will come out at the end of this year.
